Welcome to Stand Ministries Outreach Center Inc.

We’ve put together some information here anticipating inquiries. We hope that they will answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting and/or supporting our organization. 

Biblical Instruction and Counseling 

Every Sunday Evening sound biblical expository instructions are presented through the forum "The Preaching of the Cross".  Our Pastor and Teacher Rev. Dr. Leon D. Williams Jr. provides weekly in-depth exegetical teaching relevant to our circumstances, situations, and time. Come in anticipation of a lesson where the focus of each sermon is built around the point of the Biblical text being addressed. 

Resource Center Services (501C3 Acquisition)

One of our principal services to the community is the formation of corporations eventually leading to acquiring 501c3 tax-exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service within the confines of the United States.  We have successfully assisted many entities across the country to obtain non-profit tax-exemption status as well as addressing issues related to such. 

Referral and Counseling Services  

Through ministry partners and agencies, we can provide the individual with viable directed agency referrals applicable to most circumstances including but not limited to homelessness, domestic violence, mental health, drug, and alcohol, emergency food, and clothing. Counseling Services are also offered therein addressing marriage, domestic, parental, and educational issues. 

Church/Community-Based Organizational Administrations

Stand Ministries also offers organization administrative assistance to entities desiring to expand, enhance, and hone processes and policies. SWOT analysis, project management, and consultations are some of the tools utilized to meet said objectives. 

Nutritional Support Services 

Here at Stand Ministries Outreach Center Inc., we are privileged to be able to serve the communities of Canarsie, Coney Island, Brownsville, Marine Park, East Brooklyn, and our NEW location in Albany NY through our Nutritional Support Services.  Through ministry partnerships, we are able to provide emergency and biweekly pantry items to all who come to our doors.
